The exciting part of testing for pH is that the mixture changes color. The final color will indicate if the substance tested is an acid, a base or a neutral. This experiment will have your child excited about the science side of STEM! Plus, enough pH indicator will be provided so this experiment can be conducted again to test other items found around your home.
This experiment on pH comes directly from our science curriculum. Our teachers have taught this experiment to thousands of students and it is still a favorite today. Students are always amazed at the color change.

The primary colors are: red, blue, and yellow. With this kit, your child will practice their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination while creating secondary and maybe even tertiary colors. By using color tablets, water, cups and a pipette, your child will have hours of fun.
