This mini science kit will have your budding scientist exploring the three most common States of Matter in our environment: a solid, liquid and a gas. As your child conducts the three fun and exciting STEM experiments from the Activity Guide, they will be learning:
- a solid has a stable shape,
- a liquid will take on the shape of the container holding it,
- and a gas has no shape.
Experiments include: Popping Bags, Dancing Popcorn and Colorful, Fizzy Fun.
- Working with an adult ages, 8+.
- Working under adult supervision, ages 12+.
1 plastic zip bag
1 small square of paper towel
1 dropper (pipette)
1 set of color tablets (red/blue/yellow)
6 spoonful of baking soda
5 spoonful of citric acid (naturally found in fruit)
1 spoonful of popcorn kernels
** All you need to supply is water, a half measuring cup, a bowl or tray, 3-clear cups and tape.
